Typical Design of Distributed PV Access Distribution System in Anhui
This document presents a typical design for distributed photovoltaic (PV) access to distribution systems in Anhui Province, China. It addresses the rapid growth of distributed PV, driven by national carbon peak and neutrality goals, and the challenges of integrating rooftop solar into county-level distribution networks, such as power fluctuations, generation-load mismatches, and power quality issues. The design aims to standardize grid connection methods to enhance safety, coordination, advancement, and system adaptability. It covers engineering aspects including primary and secondary systems, communications, and metering, proposing eight typical AC grid connection schemes (220/380V, 10kV) and two DC schemes (375V). The work, led by State Grid Anhui Electric Power Co., involves extensive research, expert review, and collaboration among provincial power companies. The goal is to improve distribution network capacity for distributed generation, support new power system construction, and promote replicable, scalable solutions for county-level PV development.
