Safety Test and Evaluation Code for Electrochemical Energy Storage Stations

This document specifies the general requirements for safety and reliability testing and evaluation during the operation of electrochemical energy storage power stations. It covers test requirements and methods for grid-related performance, key equipment and facilities, and safety protection facilities. The standard applies to stations connected at voltage levels of 10 (6) kV and above, with rated power of 500 kW and capacity of 500 kWh and above, including lithium-ion, sodium-ion, lead-acid (carbon), and flow batteries. It includes safety evaluation methods for rules and regulations, equipment, operation, maintenance, and overhaul. The document references multiple national standards and provides informative appendices for evaluation data, record forms, report templates, and result reference tables. It is drafted by the University of Science and Technology of China and issued by the China Association of Work Safety.
