New Energy Battery Cluster Communication Network Architecture
This document outlines the communication network architecture for a new energy battery storage system, detailing the interconnections between battery clusters, controllers, and monitoring units. It describes the use of internal CAN buses for communication within clusters, linking PCAK, BMM, BCM, BMU, and BCMU modules. High-speed optical fibers, including plastic and quartz types, are employed for parallel unit connections and network-to-optical conversion. The system integrates liquid cooling and fire protection components, with dry contact fault link tripping. Network switches and optical switches facilitate data and control networks, connecting to PCS, EMS, and backend systems. The architecture supports multiple battery clusters (A1, A19, A20) with redundant fiber pairs per warehouse, ensuring reliable communication and monitoring for large-scale energy storage applications.
