By end of 2024, 73.76 million kW/168 million kWh of new energy storage was operational, over 40% of global capacity. Technologies diversified, supporting new power systems. For 2025, the report emphasizes scientific planning, innovation, market and price mechanism improvements, and international cooperation to lay a foundation for the 15th Five-Year Plan.
