PACK/Module System Life Assessment Simulation

This document presents a comprehensive system life assessment simulation process for battery PACK/module systems, developed by Tianjin Jiewei Power Industry Co., Ltd. The process involves three main steps: thermal management model calibration, simulation life model calibration, and customer operating condition life assessment. Thermal management calibration uses test data from a 1P124S system under high-speed driving conditions to adjust simulation parameters, achieving close agreement between simulated and experimental temperature rises (26.5°C to 48.1°C vs. 26.5°C to 48°C). Calendar calibration is performed on 31Ah cells at various SOC levels (30%, 70%, 100%) and temperatures (25°C, 45°C, 55°C), with simulation results matching experimental capacity fade within 0.1-0.3%. Cycle calibration uses 1C/1C cycling data at 25°C and 45°C to determine aging parameters. The final semi-empirical aging model parameters (Bcal, Eacal, zcal) are established, enabling accurate life prediction under real-world operating conditions. The document includes appendices on life models, curve fitting regression, and cycle prediction comparisons.
