In Q1 2025, global energy storage battery cell shipments reached 99.58 GWh, up 150.62% year-on-year but down 7.75% month-on-month. Large battery cells accounted for 92.85 GWh, while small cells contributed 6.73 GWh. Top market players included CATL, Yiwei Lithium Energy, China New Aviation, Haichen Energy Storage, and BYD. System shipments totaled 71.5 GWh, with the Americas leading at 27.5 GWh, followed by China (22 GWh), Europe and Central/Eastern Africa (16 GWh), and Asia-Pacific excluding China (6 GWh).
