Power Quality Management in Distribution Transformer Areas

This document presents a solution for power quality management in distribution transformer areas, addressing issues such as low voltage from excessive supply radius, three-phase imbalance, transformer overload, insufficient reactive power, and high voltage from new energy integration. The solution employs a three-phase four-leg energy storage system with independent phase control to mitigate imbalance and reduce line losses. It also introduces master-slave ACDC configurations for voltage drop compensation and flexible DC interconnection between transformer areas for load management. Core products include the EMS and PCS (INPPCS 100/0.4-W), which supports bidirectional energy flow and handles 100% unbalanced loads without an isolation transformer. The system effectively manages heavy loads, low voltage, and three-phase unbalance, improving voltage stability and reducing penalties from PV and storage integration.
