5MW/10MWh Energy Storage Project Proposal for Yihai Kerry

This proposal details a 5MW/10MWh electrochemical energy storage system for Yihai Kerry (Chongqing) Grain and Oil Co., Ltd., designed to optimize electricity costs using Chongqing's time-of-use pricing. The system comprises two 2.5MW/5.017MWh storage units, each with a battery prefabricated compartment and a PCS and step-up compartment, connected to the plant's 10kV busbar. It supports two charge-discharge cycles daily, with reduced-power charging during flat/valley periods and higher discharge during peak/super-peak hours, enhancing transformer utilization. The system also provides backup power during grid outages. Key components include 28 battery racks (358.4kWh each), a three-level BMS, FM200 fire suppression, 20kW air conditioners, 1250kW PCS units, and a 2750kVA step-up transformer. The EMS manages energy dispatch and power station operations. The layout covers approximately 500 square meters, with maintenance passages. This configuration ensures efficient energy management, load redundancy, and cost savings for the plant.
