IC Industrial Park Solar-Storage-Charging Project 500kW/1MWh Solution
This document details a comprehensive energy storage solution for an IC Industrial Park, integrating solar carports with a 500kW/1MWh system. The project uses five 100kW/230kWh storage cabinets to leverage peak-valley electricity pricing, charging batteries during low-cost periods and discharging during peak demand. The system supports solar and wind integration, optimizing renewable energy use and grid interaction to reduce electricity costs while ensuring high power quality and reliability. Key components include high-energy-density liquid-cooled battery packs, a Battery Management System (BMS), modular liquid-cooled Power Conversion System (PCS), fire safety with aerosol and water protection, and an energy management system. The design complies with numerous Chinese standards (e.g., GB/T, DL/T) for safety, performance, and electromagnetic compatibility. The compact outdoor cabinets occupy about 2 square meters each, feature plug-and-play aviation connectors, and allow flexible layout and rapid expansion. The solution emphasizes higher revenue through extended lifespan (20% increase), high round-trip efficiency (up to 90%), reduced auxiliary losses, and early winter startup. Safety is ensured via comprehensive detection of smoke, heat, CO, hydrogen, and electrolyte gases, with 1.5-hour fire resistance. Smart features include cloud-based fault reporting and configurable peak/off-peak scheduling.
