Saiyuanyaochu 200MW/800MWh Independent Energy Storage Grid Connection Design

This feasibility study report presents the grid connection system scheme design for the Ningxia Saiyuanyaochu 200MW/800MWh independent energy storage project. It covers general provisions, design basis, and principles. The report includes a regional power grid overview, Ningxia power grid development plan, and power balance analysis demonstrating the necessity of electrochemical energy storage for peak regulation. The grid connection scheme details voltage level selection, connection point, conductor cross-section, and investment scale. Electrical calculations cover power flow, short-circuit current, stability, reactive power compensation, and transient voltage rise. Main electrical connection and equipment parameters are specified, along with technical requirements for power quality, control capability, and grid adaptability. The secondary part addresses system relay protection, safety automatic devices, dispatching automation, and system communication, including protection configuration, active/reactive power control, fast frequency control, electric energy metering, and network security. Appendices include the project filing certificate and preliminary route schematic.
