1.92MW/13MWh Distributed Energy Storage System Technical Proposal

This technical proposal details a 1.92MW/13MWh distributed energy storage system for the New City Center Plaza in Tianjin, managed by Tianjin Yuheng Asset Management Co., Ltd. The plaza currently has a 26900kVA transformer capacity with two 10kV utility feeds and operates under a single industrial/commercial tariff. The project aims to implement peak shaving and valley filling to optimize energy costs and support grid stability. The system includes outdoor cabinets, power conversion systems (PCS), energy management systems (EMS), fire protection, and cooling systems. It aligns with China's 14th Five-Year Plan for new energy storage development, which targets cost reductions and large-scale commercialization by 2025. The configuration is based on the plaza's electricity consumption patterns and available space for ground or underground installation. The proposal covers project background, significance, system design, equipment specifications, grid connection schemes, and a detailed configuration list, emphasizing compliance with national policies and technological advancements in electrochemical energy storage.
